As autumn begins to color the trees and the air turns a little cooler, creation reminds us that change is not something to fear. The leaves release what they no longer need, trusting that God is still at work beneath the surface.

As we come to the Lord's Table this Communion Sunday, we are invited to let go of what weighs us down: fear, anxiety, resentment, and anything that keeps us from loving God and our neighbor more fully. Communion is not only a reminder that Christ meets us where we are, but also that we belong to one another.

In a season of change, may we find the courage to open our hands, renew our hearts, and make room for God's life among us, especially in those who are often overlooked.

"Be still, and know that I am God." (Psalm 46:10)
