Announcements for the Week of November 11, 2018

Ministry Meetings & Reminders

1.       The Health and Wellness ministry will meet after morning worship in the fellowship hall.   Persons interested in joining the ministry are welcome.

2.       The Anointed Angels Dance Ministry will meet on Monday November 12th at 6pm.

3.     Persons who signed up or are interested in participating in the Christmas skit are asked to meet on Thursday November 15, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. The Creative Arts Ministry.

4.     There will be a brief meeting with youth and their parents next Sunday, November 18th after morning worship in the front of the sanctuary.  Please plan to attend.

5.     The Food Service Ministry invites you to join them!  Whether you have a passion for cooking, decorating or serving, this ministry is for you.  Please see the Chair or any member of the Food Service Ministry.

Outreach Reminders

Our Backpack Blessings Program partnership continues to serve the students at Harvie Elementary School.  Please keep the donations coming! Every donation helps us provide weekend meals to a student in need.   If you would like to help in other ways, see Bro. James Robinson Jr.

Today is the last day to donate to support persons in North Carolina who have experienced devastation from Hurricanes Florence and Michael. If you wish to give a monetary donation, please use the pew envelope and mark it Hurricane relief.

Community Events

The 2018 Ellison Jones Convocation will be going on this week. November 12th through 15th.  The theme this year is “Gifted by the Spirit: Black Women Preaching the Word”.  See our church information board for the community worship schedule.
